"Boom" factor coast – at the hub of international traffic
The coastal regions and their port locations function as a central interface in the international exchange of goods. They are therefore ideal locations for operating logistic services and they form an important basis for economic success.
With its seaports in Brake, Nordenham und Wilhelmshaven, the JadeBay Region has efficient logistic locations whose infrastructure is consistently adjusted to suit the growing demands. In addition to the Brake Port extension, which was recently put into operation, construction of the JadeWeserPort in Wilhelmshaven represents a milestone on the path to increasing the quality of the entire region as a logistic location. Once put into operation, the JadeWeserPort will link global and North European traffic as one of the major container ports on the North Range.
Complementing the JadeWeserPort in the immediately-adjoining freight village and on the JadeWeserPark is a wide range of ideal sites for port and logistics-related services. The same also applies to the various other locations along the Weser waterway. Here too the JadeBay Region is characterised by multimodal connections, easy accessibility and a high degree of logistic competence.
