The JadeBay Region
Located in beautiful surroundings at the heart of the regional centres of Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, Bremen and Bremerhaven, the JadeBay Region is part of the Greater Bremen-Oldenburg Metropolitan Region.
Access to the region is possible via the A27, A28 and A29 motorways, a network of excellently developed national, state and district roads, as well as by a comprehensive network of local passenger and freight railways.
At the centre of the area are the regionally important Mariensiel airfield and the Wilhelmshaven deep-water port, where the deep-water container terminal JadeWeserPort will be completed by 2012. The sea and river ports of Brake, Nordenham, Elsfleth and Lemwerder are located on the River Weser, and Bremen international airport is in the direct vicinity.
Our future-oriented region provides the best possible infrastructure for establishing industrial, business and service enterprises – particularly those requiring a waterfront location, e.g. at Wilhelmshaven (Germany's only deep-water port), Brake, Nordenham, Elsfleth or Lemwerder.
